Lip Tease by Rix is a playful confrontation between desire, repetition, and control. A central pair of lips dominates the composition, stark and graphic, set against a riot of colour and echoed forms that repeat and overlap in the background. The image feels loud, flirtatious, and knowingly excessive.
The work toys with pop language and visual seduction. Bright colour palettes, rhythmic patterning, and graphic linework collide with subtle imperfections and distortion, turning a familiar symbol into something charged and unstable.
